Summer Lake Trip

We took a summer trip to White River lake. Brooklyn loved riding on the boat, and she had a nice nap on the boat. Here she is......ready to go!

15 months....

Brooklyn is 15 months and is absolutley into everything. Her favorites "finds" are mommy's lipstick, the dog food, books with pages she can rip and any kind of drawer! Thanksfully she hasn't discovered the toilet paper roll yet!!! Ha! A friend from church told me to watch out because she may start putting things down the toilet! I had not even thought of that yet! I am so glad that God created children so that as they approach a new stage I am ready and able to handle all the new adventures that go with it! It has been a blast and everyday a new adventure!

My doctor told me that "terrible 2's start around 15 months! Oh No! I thought I still had a while to prepare for that. She is a very happy little girl though most all of the time. However she has been teething this week and s not too thrilled about that!

We love her so much!

Brooklyn loves to play with this yellow ball. She also loves to sit right by the front door and look outside. I think she is anxiously waiting for the day that she can go outside and play with the ball. It won't be long!

It is getting harder to get a good picture of Brooklyn because she is constantly on the go. She keeps us busy chasing after her!

Ruidoso

We took a trip to Ruidoso in February. This picture of Landon and Brooklyn was taken there. We had a great time. She is a good little traveler.

Brooklyn loves her dolls! She has several and she loves them all. She loves to study their faces...especially the eyes. She has a little tiny doll that she carries everywhere.

Brooklyn had a great first Christmas. It was so much fun!!! She loves all of the wrapping paper and bows the best! I know everyone told us that she would...but it really was pretty funny to see!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We has a great Thanksgiving this year....we stuffed ourselves full of wonderful food and spent fun times with family and friends. Poor Brooklyn didn't get to have a Thanksgiving dinner this year....she had to settle for baby food sweet potatoes. Next year will be much more enjoyable for her.

Thanksgiving took on a whole new meaning for us this year.

In April we celebrated the birth of our healthy little girl despite some complications toward the end.

Landon is in his fourth year of remission from the cancer.

God is wonderful and we are excited about celebrating Christmas!

Brooklyn at 7 months!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends and are very excited to celebrate Brooklyn's first Christmas!

Brooklyn at 6 months!!!

We just can't believe our

sweet girl is already 6 months old! It really does go fast (except those nights when she has been up all night because of an ear infection!) She is finally feeling better after battling 4 ear infections. She is much happier now and feeling good! These are two of her 6 month pictures taken in October.
